I finally have a few minutes to give you all the much anticipated updates on the Weekend.

Sign was awesome. She was nervous at times like all of the horses and riders, but she tried to do what I asked of her every minute of the weekend. She did get grouchy in her stall. She has the personality of a cat (aloof) not a puppy dog and that really showed when she was in her stall. By Friday afternoon, she had her fill of attention. Now she is back at Signature Arabians and getting some well deserved rest. Sign is going to stay with me for at least another 60 days to continue her training. I will also work very closely with the new owners to ensure that they have the proper information and everyone is safe and happy. The new owners come from an extensive family of horse owners, so they will have lots of experience and support over the years. Robin Secrist’s horse, Jed, went to an Aunt of the Family that bought Sign.

She sold to a family in Hortonville, WI. Her new owner is a little girl named Brooklyn. She rode Sign from the Coliseum back to the barn after the auction and did not want to get off. They are planning to come to Signature Arabians in two weekends to start with lessons.

Lalo’s horse, Elvis, sold to a husband and wife who live in Kenosha, so Lalo will also be giving the new owners lessons. Nadia Heffner’s horse, Westie, was also bought by another local horseperson, so we will be seeing lots of her too.

I was a great weekend, and was the perfect ending with taking the same two horses back in the trailer that we came with. We were expecting to go home with an empty trailer, instead I could have hauled four horses back with us, next year we will need to bring a bigger trailer or at least more trailers.

I have a few pictures to post now and will post more over the next few weeks.
